Registered Apprenticeship Program Information Night

February 17, 2020 - Parkland School Division’s high schools are hosting a parent information night regarding the Registered Apprenticeship Programs (RAP) in PSD as well as other Off-Campus programming. Grade 9 to 12 students who may be interested in participating in the program now or in the future are invited to attend. Earn while you learn. RAP students are both full-time students and registered apprentices, and must be actively working toward the completion of senior high school.

The amount of time a RAP student spends at school and on the work site can be quite flexible, allowing the student to divide his or her time between an approved work site and senior high school. The student, school and employer jointly agree to a suitable schedule. Students can earn up to 40 high school credits in the program.

Date: Wednesday, March 18, 2020
Time: 6:30-8pm
Location: Horizon Stage, 1001 Calahoo Rd, Spruce Grove, AB

Explore over 50 different skilled trade occupations. Students can also qualify for a $1000 scholarship. Learn about flexible work schedules available during semesters or over the summer.

Careers: the Next Generation will also be on hand to answer questions.
